Sourdough starter fed with leftover oatmeal & buckwheat to form a sponge. Finished the loaf with @highlandharmonyfarm freshly ground wheat berries.
Toasted whole wheat, sour and mild nutty aroma all at once. A fun sensorial memory of smell that takes me back to being a youngster in our trailer and making toast or eggs and toast. Mom @thethreemagi always bought sourdough for our home.
