Emmanuel Acho Instagram – Jewish people are white, so they are not oppressed, right? 

Well, that would be wrong on 2 accounts. But I didn’t fully learn that truth until I sat down to have an Uncomfortable Conversation. 

One of the greatest lessons we can ever learn is the difference between color and culture and how that impacts our life. 

Ask a non-Jewish person, and they’ll tell you that Jewish people are white. But in sitting down to write Uncomfortable Conversations with a Jew, with @noatishby, I’ve learned so much. Including that Jewish people don’t consider themselves white.
