Our leadership is lying, misleading manipulating intimidating silencing punishing and targeting students for standing against this massacre on children women men and land. We will not stand idly by and watch a genocide happen before our eyes. The foundation for which we resist is not just empathy and love but because of our education of the holocaust and the genocide of Jews in the fifth grade. We resist the massacre because of what we know in our heart and what we have been taught by the same educational systems that are silencing us for embodying what we learned about the sanctity of life. Pro war attitudes have always been and always will be hostile and anti-living because this is the behavior that such a thinking evokes. Pro war is always war. The cycle for which universities use the funds of their students and invest it in violence- maintains a system that normalizes the cycle of war and violence into the minds hearts and work of ordinary every day students in order that the transfer of this legacy of war and imperialism continues. We are witnessing the generational imperial war doctrine collapse with the leadership of the righteous refusal of students, professors, staff of all kinds. It is our duty to protect them, stand with them, and to continue to reveal the mechanisms that enable the world that we all know must change for better. They are the change for the better and we are the change for the better when we stand by them. Indya Moore Instagram – 🚨Email Your Elected Official: The Christians in Palestine are being wiped out 🚨 While mainstream media and politicians across the spectrum often portray the Palestine ‘conflict’ as a Muslim versus Jewish struggle, this oversimplification is, at best, uneducated and, at worst, a manipulation of the truth to protect Zionism. The oppression of Christians in Gaza is not a recent development, but it has been exacerbated by Israel’s blockade, which has led to a decline in living conditions and access to essential services. This blockade, in effect for 17 years, has contributed to the erosion of the Christian community in Gaza through illness, isolation, and, tragically, death. On October 19th, Israel bombed the Church of Saint Porphyrius, Gaza’s oldest, killing at least 18 people. Despite the Israeli army’s statement that the church was not the target of the attack, Diana Tarazi, a 38-year-old Palestinian Christian, expressed disbelief, stating, “The missile fell directly on it. We cannot believe that the church was not their aim.” Pope Francis has repeatedly used the term “terrorism” to describe Israeli actions in Gaza, including the killing of unarmed civilians taking shelter in churches. In his Christmas Day appeal, the Pope called for “an end to the military operations with their appalling harvest of innocent civilian victims.” The persecution of Christians in Palestine is not a new phenomenon but has deep historical roots, dating back to the Nakba of 1948. Despite facing ongoing challenges, both Muslim and Christian Palestinians continue to demonstrate resilience and hope in the face of adversity, embodying the spirit of perseverance that has defined their struggle for generations.
