“It’s a streaming series,” my agent said to me. “From Netflix.”
“The DVD company?” I asked, flummoxed. “And what do you mean, ‘streaming’?”
“It’s from Jenji Kohan,” she responded, making my questions no longer important.
Of course, @netflix and @ijnej would go on to create a breathtaking show, and they allowed me to play a small but important role in its early seasons, a role I will cherish always. A role I am beyond grateful to have had the opportunity to play.
What an amazing cast, with some of the most incredible women I have ever come across, put together by the incomparable @jennifer_euston_casting .
What an amazing creative team, led by the genius @ijnej with @ttobie and so many amazing writers and directors for literally EVERY episode (Jodie Foster WHAT).
What an amazing book by @piperkerman. Thank you for your story.
