I only ever viewed my Dad’s journey through the adventurous eyes of a 10 year old boy (me) traveling to a new continent a new land to explore and new people, with strange accents to meet. 🇺🇸 🛩️
Yes, taking on the role of playing my Dad in this movie was an expensive therapy session. But oh what a worth one. 😲
To drop into his shoes, 👞 and his jacket 🧥 literally…into what his world would’ve looked like in the ‘90s, and not only has it given me more understanding but it’s given me the greatest empathy, compassion, respect and love for Dad. ❤️
