Miss Coco Peru Instagram – As I embark on my journey today to the UK for my small tour there, I’m once again plagued by my anxiety about things I can’t control. I pulled out this photo today to remind myself that there was a time when I felt perfect and comfortable in this world, a time when I was unaware of the cruelty that would rob me of my safety, joy, education and self worth and replace it with fear, doubt and self loathing. Creating Coco has helped me regain so much of what was lost, but it still creeps in.
I love this song by @serpentwithfeet and the lyric, “Keep a tender heart.” I’m taking that thought with me today.
