Prince Instagram – “If Eye Was The Man In Ur Life,” is the ninth track on Musicology. Originally demoed by engineer Hans-Martin Buff on February 11, 1999 at @officialpaisleypark (as “The Man In Your Life”), it was eventually reworked at Metalworks Studios, in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
Ultimately, the song included John Blackwell, Jr. on drums, and Candy Dulfer, Maceo Parker and Greg Boyer on horns with Prince playing everything else.
