Just reminiscing working with the amazing FCO Plascensia on colors. He brought that energy I always wanted for my work. We worked together on Invincible for years, turning out some killer moody stuff.

So I am not one to hang up my own art. But this one I’m making an exception. This is from way back in Invincible issue 45, you’ll notice the scene if you watch our little animated tv show on Amazon prime video😉. This is the first appearance of my design for the Viltrumite prison with Omniman locked up. This is how season 2 ends, with this scene. When I first drew this page, my son Quentin was 3 years old, and while I got up from my desk… he wanted to draw too. So he grabbed a big red marker and went to town. Took me hours to clean it up since the red marker smeared the ink into the red. But it’s an even more special page to me now since Q got his hands on it. So this will be hung up in my house soon. Thanks Q! You actually got me to hang up my own art! 😂
