We are officially open! Both plays that make up The Inheritance opened this week @canadianstage, and our audiences were so amazing: receptive, generous and very invested. It really is a thrill to be playing to a very LIVE audience— there’s a palpable reciprocity that you can only experience in theatre. Looking forward to letting the show continue to breathe and grow. Standing center on the empty Bluma Appel stage—empty, save for the traditional ghost light. Feeling the presence of all those acting ancestors who’ve left us, and welcoming them to join us as we open this play and begin sharing this beautiful story. So grateful to be here, playing in The Inheritance with all these wonderful actors and designers and crew and of course, my friend and director @brendan_healy. This one is a special one.
