Travis Tritt Instagram – I’ve seen articles from some country music bloggers and sites falsely claiming that I was the least performing artist of the country music Class of ‘89. I don’t understand this because as this @billboardcharts from September of 1991 clearly shows, I was second only to Garth Brooks and far ahead in album sales of Clint Black, Alan Jackson and Randy Travis at the most prosperous time in country music history. The record is very clear and I don’t understand why anyone would say otherwise. Regardless, I’m extremely happy for and proud of the impact that my music had on the country music industry at the time.
