Travis Van Winkle Instagram – During Mental Health Awareness month, I want to share some of my journey through my mental health. Over the years, I’ve struggled with mild forms of depression and anxiety and have used certain tools to help me reframe and rebalance my mind when it is out of rhythm. Recently, I’ve ‘set my mind and body up for success’ with a solid #morningroutine that I’ll share with you in my next post. Some other tools/strategies to combat my conditioned ‘Ho-Hum’ tendencies are therapy, spirituality, NATURE, cold exposure, fitness, community, family, healthy food/nutrition, rest/recovery, creativity/expression, the arts, travel, giving back… not in any specific order and usually A COMBINATION OF ALL OF THE ABOVE.
Take care of yourself. Find YOUR way. Use the resources that are available to you. Reach out for help. People care about you, don’t forget that.
