Alexandria DeBerry Instagram – one year ago 🌸 church, cherry blossoms, strolling the Meguro river with my boys. I remember being anxious to be living half way across the world with a 6 month old, in a foreign country where I don’t speak the language or know anyone… but it ended up being one of the most unbelievable experiences of our lives. this was our first week in Japan & Beaux’s 1st time in church. Seeing people from all over coming together to worship God together in both English & Japanese was incredible so so special. I had been disappointed that our trip had gotten pushed so we had missed peak cherry blossom season.. but after walking out of service that day, we found this beautiful area in full bloom, bursting pink! it felt like a little God smile telling me everything was going to work out just fine 🫶🏼 Trusting where God leads is always an adventure… my hope is to hand over my own plans doubts & bravely follow wherever He guides! I’ll be sure to have my Google Translate app ready too, just in case 😜🌎💮
