Alicia Keys Instagram – Hell’s Kitchen takes place in a building named Manhattan Plaza and we shot the Kaleidoscope music video at the real place where I grew up 🤯🤯🤯💙💙💙 What was so special about this building is that it’s the only one of its kind. With affordable housing for artists. So, everyone who lived there was a poet, a composer, a playwright, a violinist, an artist. The Ellington Room was where I did all my piano recitals as a girl. At the time, I would’ve never imagined this building held the experiences to one day create a Broadway play! Sometimes everything we’ve been waiting for is not as far as we think.
