Amber Reign Smith Instagram – Couldn’t let the day end without acknowledging the 3 year anniversary of making the decision to Go All In on acting, so in honor of my journey here’s a trip down memory lane #dump
•I was a Body Double for Tika Sumpter on The Haves & The Have Nots for one day. Had to use my fav SC filter to share how excited I was to have a dressing room at Tyler Perry Studios. Oprah walked by me in the hallway and reached out her hand to touch mine. I didn’t want to wash it 😂
•first season working as a full time stand in. I would stand in today if I had to, it’s the best way to gain on set experience IMO, highly recommend
•At Pat’s watch party, I am always reminded of the night at TBR when he told me that he doesn’t do anything besides act because he is focusing his energy there. I was offended at the time because I had just gotten my real estate license, microblading certification and bartending certification. Just all over the place lol
•Doing skits and attending cattle calls like the one 50 had for BMF, we just knew we were going to book it lol (idk how his face got cut off 🥴)
•in person callbacks for the series I created with my mom, I was tired of waiting for opportunities so I created my own
•filming the first pilot that cast me as a lead, I thought this was it! Production fell apart soon after so it never came to light
•booked my first co-star role, so grateful to be back at TPS and this time with lines!
•celebrating my birthday on set of Outlaw Posse, my first theatrical release with THEE MVP
•I’m official babyyyyyy!
