Amy Landecker Instagram – When the Nazi’s occupied Germany they would let Jews leave if they were sponsored by an academic institution. Strange but true. My Grandfather Werner Landecker was one of those Jews. And the academic institution was the University of Michigan. They payed for his passage and he became a professor of Sociology there. My mom’s dad, Lyndon Welch was also a professor there, of architecture. My love and gratitude to U of M runs deep. Some of my favorite childhood memories were watching Michigan in the Rosebowl Game New Year’s Day. Decades later I got to take my Dad to the Rosebowl and watch Michigan win in one of the most epic games of all time. Thanks to Lauren Hantz we got to watch in style. This will be one of the best memories with my Dad that I will ever have. Believe!! GO BLUE!!💙💛
