i started the @beatricemartinfoundation foundation with my sister because i saw how books changed my life and my family’s life so to see this issue spreading larger every year is terrifying. books allow all people to broaden their worldview all in the comfort of their home or local library so banning books specifically targeting marginalized communities is doing a disservice not only to the people not being represented, but everyone. stand with us in our fight to put an end to book bans by wrapping your backpack and donating to our 1000 books fund where all of the proceeds will go schools and libraries effected by book bans.
