physically: wondering why the helllll it’s raining in LA again

when planning this trip, the main focus was wellness and mindfulness. i wanted quiet, soundbaths, yoga, meditation, and art. the place i stayed is designed for just that, so it was heaven.

i wanted to share this thing i did (the pic with the rake) it’s called ephemeral art and its basically like a giant zen garden in the sand, but you spend nearly two hours creating this beautiful design under the hot sun, knowing that it’s going to be taken away by nature.

it helps eliminate the idea of perfectionism, and helped me feel detachment and just live in the moment. it might sound silly, but temporary art was one of the highlights of my trip. i also saw sea turtles, snorkeled in a coral reef, had a lot of energy cleansing and ancient Mayan rituals, focused on the four elements. ive never experienced anything like this so i just wanted to share.

i woke up every morning to watch the sunrise and it was beyond stunning ☀️

what are you doing today? do you have any plans? i will be catching up on work stuff, making some reels and TikTok’s of my trip, posting some stuff in the group chat 😉 and snuggling with Asher. he has his playgroup again today so wish us luck!

I’m ready for spring! (without any more rain here)

thank you for all the suggestions on where to donate clothing in LA, it’s so appreciated. i am purging my house for spring, even though there’s construction stillll on my bathrooms, i want to purge the rest of the house. the bathroom saga continues lol.

our Easter was so nice yesterday, Asher got to eat way more candy than he is normally allowed and the clouds were out (he loves looking at the clouds, for literal hours)

we cleaned, we cuddled and i watched Queen Of Tears, im still two episodes behind because of my trip but its sooo insanely great, i recommend it 1000%

I’m almost finished with The Tearsmith novel and i found it so addicting and unique, the female MC especially 🐛🦋 the film releases on Netflix this week so you should read the book first!
