Arvida Byström Instagram – I have been selling AI generated noodes of myself for 4 months for about $10k. (Needless to say an AI is reading the text in this video too..) I put some of the photos I generated into a book. It is called In The Clouds and is made together with @nudapaper Late last year I found a website claiming “it can undr355 anyone”. A website that with just a few clicks generates an imagined n4k3d AI body where the clothes previously were. I’ve been selling these images through an onlyfans-esque platform and the subscribers have been chatting with an AI “version” of me that I’ve set up with the generous help of @patrique.monique and his team at IRIS.LA. When I found the undr3ss website, I was like: Ok, people will make money out of nonconsensual AI nudes – what if I make my own money from my own consensual AI nudes? It also felt interesting to see how it will change people’s perceptions of the nudes before and after knowing it is not my “real body”. I am mainly a parasocial mythic humanoid in people’s phones, so in a way wanting my “real body” will be unattainable, so this AI body could be as good, or even better, as any body. During the process I have had very conflicting feelings about it all and I am still unpacking my emotions. At times I have been immensely happy that I haven’t been the one chatting with people, though I have been monitoring and pasting in every single message in the chats so I have also seen some people open up in really sweet ways, and I’ve seen other people that I’ve truly hated. An enormous thanks to editor @norahagdahl and the @nudapaper team, to @2650chantal for cover design, to @patrique.monique and the IRIS team. Also to the writers @dianadiagram, @cmedenborg and @slavojzizeks that contributed to the book.
