We’ll fly you out with @grahambamthankyoumam That wasn’t too bad, he was a super nice guy and gave me his window seat. Nothings hurting so far. @mrjoshhopkins @foreversevors and Drew will pick you up at the airport. Well, nothing about Josh Hopkins hurts, we all know that, he’s a flipping gem and a good old friend. You will all go to dinner to discuss that indeed There Will Be Hurt. I look up and the tallest building in Lexington has a 53 on it (my lucky number) I disclose this and discover that Rob’s lucky number is also 53. Both of our minds blown he shows me his 53 hat and tattooed arm. We have a wonderful dinner, no hurting yet, just full bellies and great comradery. Check into a lovely hotel. I get to see my oldest bestie @colindoherty… only laughter, goodness and the kind of heart to hearts you can only share with someone that’s known you for decades, that filled this old tank. But They keep telling me, we are here for it and by God, THERE WILL BE HURT. So I go to work, meet the crew, director and DP. Have great days playing and feeling the spark of creativity ignite my soul. I felt warm and excited, no hurting. I’m taking bathes in a tub twice a day, no hurting here. Pure bliss… plus I’m so inspired by these film makers and this breathtaking landscape I pickup my computer and start to revisit writings and ideas that had laid dormant. If anything I am feeling no pain and flooded with possibity. In fact it was my happiest, most creative self, free to be with my people doing what we get to do best when we get to do it. I’m so grateful that this feeling of belonging and the space to call forth my creativity was given to me. Josh made me cry everytime, off camera during his coverage, mind you… it still didnt hurt. 🙂 i was given a much greater gift than any of you will ever know on that trip. I was told that actors are the runts of their families and when we all get together there is this magic, this safety and a knowing that you are home. It didn’t hurt one bit!
