Ashley Scott Instagram – What a beautiful day it was… I finally got to take the mushroom foraging class that Brando Farr offers. Met an super fun group of adults who were considerably more colorful than I was. I had forgotten it was St. PATRICKS day. We started the discussion on a beautiful old oak. Brando took his time honoring the land on which we stood and the mycelium beneath the soil. We discussed our safety and the safety of our environment. Respecting the mushrooms critical role in all that surrounded us. We were not there to fill our bags.We were there to celebrate the process, educate ourselves as much as we could in 2 hours and find treasures that were ready for the picking. I enjoyed the class, learned a lot and definitely fed my curiosity. If you ever have the opportunity to take an excursion with Brando, I strongly suggest it.
