Beatie Edney Instagram – My dead Dad’s birthday today. Never doubted his love. God he was clever, well-read and so practical. He could quote you any poem and mend anything. His knowledge was encyclopaedic. Before Google I could just phone him to ask a question. Brilliant ballroom dancer. A gourmand and wine connoisseur. Very sporty first with Judo and then Squash, which my brother plays to this day. Happy birthday Dad! (In these photos with my mum and me as a baby.
