Carmen Carrera Instagram – Everyone’s a critic when they got nothing going on in their lives… Took my dogs to the beach finally 🐾 needless to say they had a very good time ☺️☀️☺️ I moved to Miami with my babies almost 3 years ago from LA in search of a better quality life and a culture that compliments my goals in fitness. Although LA taught me a lot of lessons on how to hustle and function solely out of my ego, the character building Miami offers has been so important to my growth and success in my personal life. Having a strong social character as a trans person is crucial to my work, too. As an actor, what can I truly contribute if I’m out of touch with real life? LA does have some good opportunities though, but not enough chances to flex that social muscle outside of mutually beneficial relationships for works sake.. and that can feel so robotic and unauthentic at times. I’m truly grateful for both cities and will continue to bounce back and forth. 🩵💙💛🧡💜🩷

I love them so much 🥰 They have very big personalities & do challenge my patience sometimes but I love every minute. 💯 #dogmom
