Caroline D’Amore Instagram – @pizzagirl Pizza Sandos just hit different.
With a handful of ingredients, some pizza dough and a Pizza Girl Pizza Grill, this sandwich comes together in no time.
Save this easy food processor pizza dough recipe below and make this sandwich asap! 👇
Food processor pizza dough-
* 1 Tbs. OR 1 pack of active dry yeast
* 1 tsp. sugar
* 1 cup of warm water (105 to 115 degrees)
* 3 cups all purpose flour
* 1 tsp. salt
* Olive oil
In a small bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water and let stand until foamy, about 5 minutes.
In a food processor, combine flour and salt, pulse a few times.
With the food processor running, slowly add the yeast mixture. Continue processing until a dough ball forms and cleans the sides of the bowl, about a minute, then process for 1 minute more to knead dough.
Coat the inside of a large bowl with olive oil and place the dough in the bowl. Cover with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap and place in a warm spot to rise. After about 1 1/2 – 2 hours the dough will have doubled in size.
Scoop out the dough and portion into your desired size and form your pizza dough balls .
Too make the SANDO 👇
Gently stretch your dough until it forms a circle.
Add cheese of your choice to one half; I used Cooper Sharp and Sharp Cheddar.
Fold in half and place on your preheat Pizza girl Pizza Grill.
Cook for 5-6 minutes, rotating half way through.
Remove and open the sandwich.
Top with sliced tomatoes, creamy avocado, roasted turkey, crispy prosciutto, peppery arugula and a drizzle of olive oil.
Close and enjoy 😉.
