Watching Judah be a dad is one of the sexiest things. I think it’s watching the inherent selflessness of parenting that gets me. But there’s a catch.
While we will always be parents, our kids won’t always be under our care, and our son’s recent engagement only highlights for me how fast that goes. If we make our children the basis of our marriage partnership, what will that partnership look like once that season has ended? One of the greatest definitions of “wisdom” I have heard is planning with the end in mind.
