I think it’s a perfect film, and one of the best of the last year. @dastmalchian ‘s performance is absolutely captivating, sprinkled with unexpected humor and a relatable vulnerability. The entire cast delivers pitch-perfect performances. The vintage film aesthetic lends itself to the patient pacing; the story pulls you in and then it’s over before you know it and leaves you begging for more. It’s a very palatable horror film that even the non-horror fans will love. It doesn’t rely on cheap jump scares, but the true terror of the human condition. It’s a perfect film. Go see it.
