Danai Gurira Instagram – A definite highlight of this year for me was spending time with one of my personal Sheroes, Former President #EllenJohnsonSirleaf. As the first democratically elected female president on the African continent, she has trailblazed the path for female leadership. The example this Nobel Laureate set of bringing stability to Liberia after decades of war is one that stands as inspiration to women everywhere. It was an honor beyond words to be a fellow honoree with her for the TIME100 Africa Impact Awards. An amazingly inspiring woman and she had some love for Wakanda too!
