Home Actress Dot-Marie Jones HD Instagram Photos and Wallpapers April 2024 Dot-Marie Jones Instagram - This first pic is like a year old, but I thought it was fitting for today. 4 years ago today I had a heart attack. Not just a heart attack but a WIDOW MAKER HEART ATTACK which only 8-12 % of the folks who have one actually survive. I was beyond 🍀 lucky. For 3 weeks prior to this I had been miss diagnosed with adult onset asthma and given several stronger and stronger inhalers. None of which worked only made my heart race more. I didn’t have any of the so called typical symptoms. I would walk 50-75 feet and my chest would burn it felt like my lungs when you walk out into cold weather and take a deep breath. I would stop and after a minute it would go away. Then walk another 50-75 feet and have to do the same thing. But on Jan 9th 2020 @bridgettcjones insisted that she was taking me to our cardiologist Dr Nguyen. And i thank her everyday and i will everyday for the rest of my life. Our Dr put me in the hospital and the did test and as it turns out i was in the middle of having a heart attack right then! Had I not gone I would not have made it.🥹🙏🏻They did an emergency cath lab procedure. And my LAD (left anterior descending artery) was 99% blocked! They cleaned it out and put a stent. I can’t write this with out crying because i know how very lucky i am to be in that 8-12%. Everybody has different symptoms and some the same but my point is be an advocate for yourself or your loved one . And don’t stop until they get it right. I always say, that’s why it’s called practicing medicine, cause nobody’s got down. Bridgett i love you for so many reasons this just adds to the list. The second pic is my life saver and love of my life. @bridgettcjones Please YALL take care of yourself and your loved ones. Something we can’t wish away. LOVE YOU ALL❤️ PS.I AINT DONE!!!! #Dr.Nguyen #widomakersurvivor @american_heart
