Ellie Goulding Instagram – There is soooo much I could say today about our precious planet 🌍 but I want to say this, simply…. our survival depends on whether or not we decide to put nature first and protect biodiversity. There is nothing more important because everything is connected- if one thing in the cycle is broken, everything breaks with it- whether a decline in bees or fish, degraded soils from unsustainable farming (we need healthy soils for food!!) or plastic choking up our oceans. It is all one massive chain- and we won’t be able to escape the consequences of pretending we can just go on without addressing everything we have already put at risk 🥴🥴🥴 Ending our reliance on fossil fuels is a good start (Governments and people who have the opportunity to invest in Green Energy ENTER THE CHAT NOW PLZ) Changing the way we think about fashion and our addiction to new clothes would be another one (where the hell do I start with this- please Google the environmental implications of fashion 🤢) So would making small changes to our diet and eating a little bit less meat (a sickening amount of deforestation to clear for grazing etc and that’s just the beginning) Nature sustains us and keeps us alive but doesn’t have a voice.
