Emily Swallow Instagram – (FWIW I made this post last week for #thisisthewaywednesday, but it vanished into the ether as it was posting…curse ye, @instagram!) To walk The Way is to see a way to foster connection between communities. Ryan Minsk, who works for the Wounded Warrior Project and is a member of the Lothal Clan of the @mandalorianmercs, sees how much the veterans he works with have to contribute. He also knew they can relate to the tedium of long hospital stays, much like some kiddos at Wolfson Children’s Hospital. Ryan made an inquiry with the hospital to find three Star Wars Fans….the vets made Mandalorian armor in the foundlings’ favorite colors and presented the helmets and chest plates to them and their families at the Jacksonville Wounded Warrior Project Offices. I was in town for @collectiveconvention and, thanks to a friend from church, I got to be a part of the presentation. These incredible veterans’ work is definitely #armorerapproved.
