Frankie Kennedy Instagram – A women’s amateur soccer tournament in Australia is under fire because the winning team included five trans players.
The Flying Bats FC team won every game it played in the month-long tourney, and basically demolished every other team.
In one game, one of the trans players scored SIX goals, leaving opposing teams “disheartened” at the huge difference in ability.
Losing teams’ officials complained that the Flying Bats should should not have competed against other, all female teams.
But the league’s governing body, Football NSW, reiterated that it operates under guidelines that state that, quote, “players in grassroots football are free to play in competitions where they identify”.
Obviously there’s a massive imbalance here and something needs to be done.

Should trans players be able to compete like this, or should there be a special league set up for them so that its more of an even playing field.
