Gina Yashere Instagram – What a weekend! It’s Aries season & my birthday happened to fall on a Saturday between the recordings of the last 2 episodes ever of my life changing show @bobheartsabishola, so why not throw a house party, & see how many songs we can do the Electric slide to? 🤣 Thanks to everybody who came out to celebrate with me, & my 3, yes 3!!! DJs, @kgsuperstar, @kristilomax, @djasha A great way to put a full stop, or period for you Americans 😜 on this beautiful chapter of my life. Had to get in the sauna, do half an hour of stretches, hit myself with a massage gun, hang upside down on my inversion table, then hit my knees with some red light therapy, just so I could walk Sunday morning, but I feel nothing but GRATITUDE
Gina Yashere Instagram – This week I said an emotional goodbye to my life changing show @bobheartsabishola. 5 years ago, a meeting with Chuck Lorre changed the course of my life & career, & myself and a talented group of people wrote 95 episodes of groundbreaking TV, brought to life by a most amazing team of people, from the cast, to directors ,costume, lighting, grips, set dressers, and props. We became a family, & I will miss them all. Creating & playing Kemi was the greatest of honours. I loved every second of it & I’ll miss her SO MUCH. I will take what I’ve learnt & hopefully create more stories while also helping my friends do the same. This isn’t the end. Just a new beginning. I thank you all for your support, and I’m forever grateful. ONWARDS & UPWARDS
