Giovannie Espiritu Instagram – After several years of working with each other online on the concept, characters, and story of “sisters of the desert” during the pandemic, Daryl Barnes and I finally met last night in person to film the proof of concept.
We were a small but mighty team of seven, with Daryl at the directing helm, Mr. Scott as DP, Jonathan as Prod Designer, the brilliant Liz Fenning as the recruiter, Alicia doing double duty as talent / producer, and Alex as PA.
I was also a body. 😂 We managed to pull off an amazing guerrilla ending shot that I’m taking as a positive omen from the universe. 🌀
