It was a moment of horripilation when the men in uniform, the armed forces gave us the ceremonial welcome. Representations from India, Emirates, Entire GCC nations, Afro Arab nations, the mediterraneans all stood equally in the same spirit and zeal. It was a moment that i witnessed the entire human race evolved as a single nation in the name of art, we all signed into that single nationality called CINEMA!! Yes, It was the opening ceremony of ‘Cinemana International Film Festival’ hosted by Dr. Khalid Al Zadjali attended by dignitaries.
The entry of Maama Aminaa, the senior most artist of omani media was another excitement and with her hilarious presentation she welcomed our dearest Dr. Khalid Al Zadjali, the founding father of the cinema in oman. Along with his cordial welcome speech, his animation film ‘Sulthana’ was shown as the opening film. The film was more than a visual treat. The governor, ministers, Juries, artists, directors, producers, juries, celebrities and other dignitaries were present and honoured. Thus, Muscat in Sultanate Oman kickstarted the celebration of cinema, ‘Cinemana International Film Festival.’🎬🎉🎊♾️
