Whew! These “Cod Fish* Fritters aka “Bacalaitos” were a WHOLE process, however WELL WORTH EVERY SINGLE BITE.
I have a new respect for Bacalao.
I would see and smell the salted fish when I went into the grocery store, but never knew what to do with it.
The process of soaking this fish. Then changing the water (to remove the excess salt) makes me KNOW I’m only making these again for special occasions. Lol
I filled them with onion, red pepper and cilantro. So yummy!!!
