Helen Hunt Instagram – In 2013 I got to play research geneticist Mary-Claire King who led a crusade to uncover the genetic roots of breast cancer. The incredible Samantha Morton played Annie Parker, whose mother and sister died of the disease. She believed there was a genetic component and Mary-Claire King proved it was true. Today, Annie Parker, alive and well, has created the Annie Parker Foundation, supporting people who live with the BRCA 1 AND BRCA2 gene. Link in my bio to support. @annieparkerfoundation
