I manifested this film on the floor of my room
after a social interaction that left me feeling empty. I called a friend @official_averi_white the day before the shoot bc I knew I couldn’t put any more on my plate & she was there on set the next day no questions asked. I sat with my mentor for hours trying to make sure I worded this poem so precisely so that my true authentic self could be expressed freely. I burned myself countless times trying to make this wardobe by myself out of random thifted finds. I got to connect with such a talented DP @serrvillasano that took everything that I said/wanted and made it better than I ever could’ve imagined. I sat with this footage for maybe six months bc I didn’t believe in my skills as a editor & wasn’t ready for the world to see it.
