Dan was fresh from a rescue covered in goat shit, I was waddling like I swallowed a ford focus, I had also drooled on my shirt during a recent nap, the sunset was beautiful (hallelujah for something nice), it was perfect and perfectly us. We’ve said “we should start planning a wedding” and gestured around vaguely at least once a week with no follow through because that bulbous belly is now a giggling, crawling, center of our universe who is better than everyone you know and who has the time.
