When I lost my best friend @linzhawley to this on New Years Day in 2017, I wanted to join her. It’s been a long, tortuous road of healing and self discovery ever since. When people take their lives, they take a part of everyone close to them as well.
The ripple effect goes far and wide, but so can the message of hope and transformation. I am on a mission with my movie @40secondsfilm to raise more awareness and destigmatize being “different”, having strong feelings and emotions. You should never be critized for being upset or sad (like I have been by my own family) here’s to all the other black sheep ✊🏼
Ask those around you how they’re REALLY feeling. If they are happy. I need to start doing a better job of that too
