“Over-the-Rhine” Very first live performance of a song from Dandelion at #SXSW2024. I’ve carried so much fear around sharing my original music and singing voice, so I can’t fully express how massive this was for me. I was sooooo nervous and honestly, I could barely get myself to even make this post. Thanking God for the journey that lead to this moment and the journey ahead as I continue to prioritize my music and grow as a singer/songwriter and performer. Pushing past fear, shame and insecurities to truly use all the gifts that God has given me. Thank you to our director @nicriegel and our composers, Aaron & Bryce Dessner, for listening, collaborating and making space for me to bring more of myself to the music in the film. Thank you to my personal trainer, my big cousin @dmefitness, who keeps me in line no matter where I am in the world like only family and an incredible trainer can. I was so nervous about this look and super anxious overall about attending more events throughout #NYFW and Ari lovingly encouraged me to push past my fears and insecurities and step out of my comfort zone and be SEEN.
