we shot this in em’s hometown on oahu. stayed in her childhood home, walked to her favorite coffee shops and bakeries, surfed when we weren’t shooting. thank you for having us, mānoa. experiencing the rainfall that moves like clockwork reminded me of my childhood on another island. this was my first time in hawai’i and it was a memorable one.
@littletruck01 i loved holding your hand in this, thanks for letting us convince you to be ben. i know how much hawai’i means to you and I’m happy to have shared this time here together. even though we got sick and sleepy.
and to diane and scott and our magnificent brilliant crew… thank you so so so much, so grateful to have made this together, for spending my birthday on this set with you, and for eating many musubis together.
