Mackenzie Foy Instagram – This is Whisper of the Wild. She is a young wild mustang that just a few weeks ago, was found starved, neglected, and on her way to slaughter. Because of @ashleyavis and @wildbeautyspirit she was saved and began the road to recovery. It’s my honor, to be her new adopter. With the guidance of veterinarians and trained professionals we will continue her rehabilitation and eventual training. The goal is not to tame the wild in her but to learn to speak to it. To help her find her peace and place in the world. Thank you to everyone who made this possible. I can’t wait to learn from this incredible girl.
Mackenzie Foy Instagram – An update on Whisper of the Wild. When whisper went to the hospital to have her infected tooth removed, which was successful and she is now fully healed. The vets noticed something wrong with her eye. Whisper is completely blind in her left eye. There is no way to know how this happened to her. It could be genetic and she was born with it, or she could have had some form of injury to her eye. What we do know, is that it does not cause her any discomfort or pain, she just can’t see out of that eye. I am so proud of her for being so trusting and willing to try new things with us as we start her training. She is a truly incredible pony.
