Impossible to describe with words what I feel the minutes before curtain up (specially before a Swan Lake performance)
Truly a big rollercoaster of emotions….(very intense 🙈🤣)
And this is why I always need to feel the stage not only to try the steps but to get familiar with the sets and atmosphere of the world that I will step into as soon as the curtain goes up…I love these moments …nothing compares to the world behind our red curtains ❤️😍

The final touch before curtain up….putting my ballet shoes on 🩰 (the chosen ones…choosing a pair of shoes for a performance is a big deal…) for a ballet like Swan Lake I will wear three pairs of pointe shoes (a new one for each act)
