It’s our 3rd wedding anniversary today! Toddie, I said it in my vows: “You are everything I’ve ever wished for. I never knew but I had hoped there’d be such a healthy, fun and consistent love for me out there. You made my greatest dream come true. While meeting Todd’s friends for the first time, Maya ate and finished a 12 pack of mini ice cream cones that were meant for the children at the party. 2. Todd and Maya once argued over a piece of left over cake that Todd finished without Maya. Things got ugly for a while. 3. Todd and Maya knew they were going to get married on date one and told each other on that same day. 4. Maya and Todd often watch people slipping and falling on ice on youtube. They both find it hilarious. 5. Before they even met in person, Todd implied over the phone to Maya that he had studied medicine in College to impress her. Maya believed it and told her parents. Todd has never studied medicine. 6. Maya and Todd call themselves the dumpster bandits.
I haven’t posted in a while and I was excited to take some shots by the beach. I had this whole fun day planned. But life happened and I was in a deep sadness that day, I just couldn’t brush it off. But I went with it even though I just couldn’t fake being happy. And I think that’s what I was meant to post today. Sending you extra love, especially those of you having a sad day. Feel it and it’ll move! ♥️
Happy birthday my beautiful Lava! I continue to be incredibly grateful for the day you were born. I love that we are on this journey together as a team, and what an invaluable teammate you are! The way you wake up knowing it’s going to be « the best day ever », how you walk our ninety year old neighbor Anne from the park back to her house safely, the way you hide behind cars in the hopes of catching me in a panic thinking that I lost you, how kind you are to people in the service industry, how ruthless you are when you see injustice, the way you walk our dog Winston five to six times a day, how ridiculously funny you are. I could go on but you get it, I love it all! I especially love what a wonderful, hands-on father you are. I already know this year is going to be a great year for you because you’re you and every year gets to be « the best year ever ». Yours, M P.s. You’re hot even when you have strep throat.
On January 6th we celebrated Leo’s 1st birthday! And on his first birthday, shortly after his party, he gifted us with his very first few steps. Leo has impeccable timing, a true comedian. He’s also a musician and very athletic but more on that later. He loves all things water related and inspecting kitchen cabinets is his favorite pastime. I love this little man more than anything! What can I say, he’s Mr. ONEderful. 💙

What a beautiful experience christening our baby boy in an old Swiss church full of history. I love knowing that Jesus will be with Leo on this journey. A huge thank you to his Godfather @davidbrenner for making it all the way from San Diego and to his Godmother @sicuranzaluisa who’s been my best friend for over 30 years! Cheers to my loving husband @toddclever for being open minded to my spiritual beliefs and being bold enough to read a passage in french in front of everyone (he doesn’t actually speak the language)! And a massive thank you to my parents for organizing it all. It truly was very special! ♥️🙏🏽
