A creative height for Emma Stone, her humor and physical freedom burn like a torch carrying us through every layer of the world. Ramy Youseff, as honest an actor as he is a stand up comedian, grounds and cements the core relationships with quasi-human Willem Defoe & Stone, who are so unique they lend a bridge to this fantasty. Mark Ruffalo makes bold and delightfully strange choices that elevate his chapters, and left me wondering how anyone could feel so free then aspiring to it.
