The last workout I shared was the day I went into labor!😳
I like to share workouts that are accessible and able to be modified and offer SOME guidance and instruction.
So let’s get going again…
The majority of the gym workouts I do I consider conditioning for all my activities, but my shoulders are TERRIBLE (injured) and need some therapeutic and traditional love to keep them from hurting.
Here’s one way I make my boring shoulder day more interesting by adding core and some TKD elements for fun!

SAVE THIS!📌

THE WARM UP:
-scapular protraction and retraction
-single arm Scap retract (both sides)
-wall slides (this looks like I’m just cleaning the wall, but you gotta be constantly pressing into the wall with the working arm and keep from raising your shoulder)
-slow reverse punch (a more functional version of scapular protraction)
*2 rounds!

THE WORKOUT:
#1 circuit
-military press 12 reps
-front raise 12 reps
-standing side bend in a roundhouse chamber 12 reps each side
*5 rounds!

#2 superset
-seated Arnold press 12 reps
-engaged bug: keep shoulders blades up and firmly press into your knee with your hand. (10xs each leg)
*5 rounds!

#3 superset
-upright rows (added core challenge on a bosu) 12-15 reps
-slow, smooth roundhouse kick on bosu 10-15 each leg
*5 rounds!

Note: some of this is sped up for your viewing sake, but move according to your own body’s needs!
