Melody Cheng Instagram – It’s not a forever “goodbye” to Los Angeles, but a goodbye to a special era in my life. Almost 9 years ago (so close to 10), I moved to LA to pursue my passion of working in the creative space. I was scared but mostly excited for whatever life had in store for me. Even though everything felt unpredictable & foreign, I felt like there was this calling for me to be here.
Fast forward to now, I’d wake up to the familiar sight of the sun greeting me in the morning. The foreign shops & restaurants have become my go-to places. My past co-workers have become life long friends. My clubbing friends are now my co-founders & best friends. My community became my chosen family. LA truly became my home.
As much as I’m sad to close this chapter of my life, I’m beyond thankful for the the city & it’s people, places & things that have shaped me to become the woman I am today. | Posted on 18/Mar/2024 09:31:17
