The last picture that I’ve posted seemed to have upset some people and I’m sorry for having caused a feeling of shame.
But more so I’m sorry that a fun fashion photo is enough to upset some people. It didn’t show violence, abuse or private parts of my body. I’m half Afghan, half German but above all I’m a human being who defines as a woman. A woman who works as an artist. Part of that work requires me to play different roles. Roles like the one in the pic. I’ve always tried to find the right balance between anything that this work requires, not offending my family and what I myself am willing to do.
All that just to say: thank you for everyone’s concern but I decided the only person who is making decisions at this point in my life is me. I do what I want. For now it means putting the pic down bc I don’t have the energy to deal with it. But I will upload it again if I want to. Thank you for reading 🤍
