a few weeks ago, i would go to bed anxious and wake up with my shoulders up to my ears. my nightmares came at such a ferocious pace that i’d wake up gasping for air because i’ve completely stopped breathing. it felt like something was chasing me and if i stopped fighting or taking flight, i’d be done for.
since then, i’ve been working on communicating how i feel, and forming a healthy tension between authenticity and attachment. meditation has been that anchor for me.
types of pranayama i’ve been engaging:
• ujjayi (ocean breath, breath of victory)
• kapalbati (shining forehead)
