Natalie Gumede Instagram – I’ve been so grateful to spend extra time with friends celebrating the start of a new decade this month – it has reset my nervous system and allowed me to bathe in gratitude for all the love I am surrounded by.
The end of my 30s was a strange period, full of the challenges that many have faced through covid and now a recession. My energy was depleted and I felt a lot of the time like I was flailing, often stuck in an ‘if only’ mindset. Surviving those challenges with lots of support and invitations to view endings as new beginnings, has brought a new resolve to my spirit. Sharing stories with others has reminded me that there is no easier path, and no greener grass. The mountains we climb have different vistas, different gradients, but the solutions are the same. One foot in front of the other. Reach up and take the support offered when needed. Reach down and lift others up when you are strong enough. Keep going. Remember that all the highs, and dips, and rocky points are just chapters in your story, and they pass.
