Natalie Gumede Instagram – I wouldn’t normally post a #selftape audition to instagram – they’re generally not that interesting out of context of the full story, and of course as #actors we try to keep the confidence of the production in question. This one from earlier in the year however, I thought was worth a share.
I had previously filmed several takes of this scene where the character comes home drunk then carries on drinking, so already I had it in the can. I then decided to play with what would happen if I popped a real bottle. I mis-timed the bottle opening with my line reader app so the take was already ruined, but as I only had the one bottle, I carried on.
